The MET hose, with external nylon braiding, is a good alternative to the more widespread EPDM or PVC hoses. This type of hose offers superior features compared to the majority of the hoses on the market today. However, thanks to fully automated production lines the price is very competitive. MET can be totally recycled as the internal layer made of EPDM can easily be pulled out of the external nylon cover and the two parts can be recycled separately.
MET advantages go even further: in fact, its lightness makes it easier for the assembling line personnel at household electrical appliances plants to handle the bunches of hoses. The weight of 25 hose assemblies of 1.5 mts. lenght is 3.75 kg against the 8.25 kg of EPDM hoses with comparable performances.
MET is assembled only on automatic lines to guarantee a total quality of the product.
