The SuperMET hose is the first washing machine hose especially designed to offer an absolute safety in connecting washing machines and/or dishwashers to the water mains. The study of the weaknesses of the safety hoses on the market today brought to the solutions adopted on the SuperMET hose, that we list herewith: straight and elbow fittings assembled on traditional hoses are made of plastic. This makes them potentially unsafe, especially when mounted on built-in appliances, where, by pushing the machine towards the wall, it is possible to break the elbow fi tting. The SuperMET hose fittings are made of machined brass. On traditional safety hoses at least one of the two nuts is made of plastic and the wrong habit of the majority of the people to use tools to tighten them, can easily cause the breakage. The SuperMET hose nuts are made of machines brass with an external layer of polypropylene.
The safety hoses have very high assembly costs because of the particular assembly that is mostly hand-made and often the assembly and testing costs are higher than the cost of the components. The SuperMET hose is produced and 100% tested by automatic lines and this is the reason for which this hose can be offered at very competitive prices.
